Who Shall Remain Nameless

so young
in disbelief
flexing his strength
over me
lying in summer grass
somewhere in left field
humiliating me
just enough
swirling confusion
so young

in disbelief
kept me quiet
turning my desire into
a weapon
staring at the vacant blue ceiling
I pushed back
as much as I dared
his simmering rage
pushed back
questioning his power
control

strength
over me
lying in the summer grass
humiliating me
a weapon
I pushed back
swirling confusion
aware of wide open fields
empty
no one to see
witness
hear…
help
